Hayley Corkery - Clinical Myotherapist in Essendon
Hayley Corkery
Clinical Myotherapist
Bachelor of Health Science - Clinical Myotherapy
Hayley’s deep interest in the human body and the connection between the mind and body stems from her own 14-year journey managing chronic pain and lower back issues. To better manage a history of disc degeneration and bulges, she pursued a personal training course to learn targeted stretching and strengthening exercises for her own effective recovery.
Fascinated by this new knowledge, she was inspired to become a Clinical Myotherapist, furthering her education to expertly aid others with their acute or chronic injuries. Over the years, her extensive experience has included working with many elite sporting teams, giving her invaluable insight into performance and recovery. This path allowed her to channel her personal experience and passion into a fulfilling career.
Today, Hayley continues to learn through various experiences and modalities, driven by a desire to provide the best possible education and care to her clients. Her personal history has become a powerful tool, allowing her to connect with and help others manage their own issues and recurring injuries.
Hayley is a registered member of Myotherapy Association Australia.
